Wi-Fi 5 vs Wi-Fi 6 — which one is ideal for you? Check your internet speeds In our tests, in a 2,000 ft space with a 300Mbps internet plan, we found no differences in Wi-Fi internet transfer speeds between RT2600ac (Wi-Fi 5) and RT6600ax (Wi-Fi 6). The reason is that both routers can deliver Wi-Fi transfer speeds that exceed 300Mbps. The bottleneck in this scenario is the internet speed. Making an optimal decision

Mesh Wi-Fi is a whole-home Wi-Fi system that enables multiple routers to work together, providing wider and more reliable network coverage under a single Wi-Fi name.
How do I set up a Wi-Fi mesh network?

You will need at least two Synology Routers, one to function as the main unit and others as Wi-Fi points (see table for details). Setup is quick and easy and can be done through a web browser or the DS router mobile app. Refer to the following guide for detailed instructions.
